POLICIES & AGREEMENTS

Liability Waiver & Informed Consent

By booking or participating in any service offered by Soul In Space, including but not limited to yoga instruction, Reiki energy healing, sound healing, somatic coaching, and wellness workshops — whether in-person or virtual — you agree to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in yoga, movement, energy healing, and somatic practices involves physical and emotional activity that may carry inherent risks including but not limited to physical injury, muscle soreness, emotional activation, or discomfort. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. Medical Disclaimer

Soul In Space services are not a substitute for professional medical or mental health treatment. Sen Kathleen is not a licensed physician or mental health therapist. I confirm that I am in adequate physical and mental health to participate, and I have consulted or will consult a qualified healthcare provider if I have any concerns about my ability to participate.

3. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Soul In Space, Sen Kathleen, and any affiliated instructors, venues, or partners from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in any Soul In Space service, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

4. In-Person Sessions

For in-person sessions held at Arista Yoga & Wellness (Rahway, NJ) or any other location, I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety and will inform the instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or limitations prior to the session.

5. Virtual Sessions

For virtual sessions, I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for the safety of my physical environment during the session. Soul In Space is not liable for any injury sustained in my personal space during a virtual session.

6. Minors

I hereby release and hold harmless Soul In Space and its practitioners from any and all claims, liability, or demands arising out of my participation in Reiki, yoga, or coaching services.

7. Photography & Media

Soul In Space may photograph or record group sessions for promotional purposes. By participating in a group session, you consent to being photographed or recorded unless you notify Sen Kathleen in writing prior to the session.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

8. Governing Law

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Individual Sessions

Cancellation Window: All session cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made within this window will be honored with a credit toward a future session.

No-Shows & Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled session, or failure to appear without notice, will result in a 10% late cancellation fee applied to in-person sessions. The remaining balance may be applied as a credit at Sen Kathleen's discretion.

Refund Policy: All sales are final. Soul In Space does not offer monetary refunds on individual sessions, session packages, memberships, or courses once purchased. In extenuating circumstances, session credits may be issued at the sole discretion of Sen Kathleen.

Memberships & Video Subscriptions

Memberships may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.
Access to member content continues through the end of the paid period.

Online Courses

All course purchases are final and non-refundable once access has been granted.
If you experience technical issues accessing course content, contact info@soulin.space within 7 days of purchase for assistance.

Corporate & School Programs

Cancellation terms for corporate and school engagements are outlined in the individual service agreement signed prior to program commencement.
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for rescheduling corporate or school sessions.

By booking a session or purchasing any service through Soul In Space, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to both this Liability Waiver and the Cancellation & Refund Policy in full.
