A little something about me

Hi! My name is Sen and I'm the creator and CEO of the Soul In Space. The hub of educational and wellness resources that’s decolonizing healing.

I’m a hatha and trauma-informed yoga instructor, reiki practitioner, and writer. My skillset has allowed me to explore careers involving relationship building, web development, and production amongst other things. I’m a forever student and resonate with the idea that mastery doesn’t exist - there is always more to learn.

I was born a storyteller. Building worlds, characters and telling story has always been something that fascinated me. This has even extending in my choice of video games - I’m a Zelda fan.

The Soul In Space was created in response to not seeing people that looked like me or the people I love in spaces I’d venture in. Or if I did it was scarce and we clearly felt out of place. This space was a manifestation of something I needed and grew as I noticed the need was much bigger then me.

Now I will never claim to be an expert, but having the ability to share things that positively impacted me, it’s pretty awesome.

My hope is as this space expands, it becomes a safe community for us to grow, create and share our experiences. I want to encourage us to break out of the box, the settler mindset, of healing. We know and we’ve always known how to heal ourselves.

I’m happy to make an impact, even if it’s a small one, in the education and wellness industry. I’m even happier to amplify Black and Native voices in the ways I can. Because we deserve a space.

If You Want to Reach Me

“As far as creation goes, you just really have to not overthink and just create and be confident. If you think it's tight, then the world is going to think it's tight.”
